From 5 to 8 February 2025, the final of the Korfball Champions League (KCL) 2025 will take place at the Casal Vistoso Sports Complex in Lisbon, Portugal . This event marks the highlight of the European korfball season and brings together six of the strongest teams from Europe together in a battle for the title.
Participating Teams
The six teams participating in the final are:
- 🇳🇱 PKC/Vertom (Netherlands)
- 🇧🇪 Borgerhout/Green-White (Belgium)
- 🇵🇹 NC Benfica (Portugal)
- 🇩🇪 SG Pegasus (Germany)
- 🏴 Bec Korfball Club (England) (placed via Round 2)
- 🇩🇪 TuS Schildgen 1932 eV (Germany) (posted via Round 2)
Four of these teams qualified directly based on their performance in the previous edition of the Korfball Champions League. The remaining two spots were filled by the winners of Round 2 , which was held in November.
Final Format
The final starts with two groups of three teams, each playing against each other in a round-robin system . This means that each team in the group plays against every other team once. The results of these matches determine which teams advance to the cross-finals. Ultimately, this format will determine the ranking and the winner of the Korfball Champions League 2025.
