Terms and Conditions for Submitting Video Material
By submitting a video via the form on this website, you agree to the terms and conditions below. These terms and conditions have been drawn up to protect both the submitter and KORFBALINC. and relate to the use of the submitted material, permission from those involved, property rights, and participation in promotional activities.
1. Use of Submitted Material
1.1. By submitting video material you grant KORFBALINC. an irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, copy, publish, distribute and communicate the submitted material via all current and future means of communication, including:
- Websites and webshops of KORFBALINC.
- Social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and X.
- Newsletters, printed matter and digital campaigns.
- Collaborations with external media parties or sponsors.
1.2. This permission is valid for an indefinite period , unless the submitter submits a reasoned request to remove the material (see Article 6).
1.3. The submitted material may be edited by KORFBALINC. (such as shortening, adding subtitles, editing or combining with other images), provided that this does not lead to a misleading or damaging representation of the persons in the image.
2. Consent of recognizable persons in images
2.1. The submitter declares that all recognizable persons appearing in the video:
- Be 16 years of age or older , and
- have given explicit permission for the use, editing and publication of the images as described in Article 1.
2.2. If persons under the age of 16 are recognizably depicted in the video, permission from a parent or legal representative is required. KORFBALINC. may ask the sender to demonstrate this permission.
2.3. The submitter indemnifies KORFBALINC. from all claims by third parties relating to the use of the submitted material, including claims based on portrait rights, privacy or copyright .
3. Content requirements for the video
3.1. Submissions must not contain material that:
- Is contrary to the law or morality.
- Incitement to hatred, violence, discrimination or other inappropriate behavior.
- Infringes the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Is harmful or misleading.
3.2. KORFBALINC. reserves the right to refuse, not publish or remove entries at a later time without giving any reason if, in its sole discretion, they are in conflict with these terms and conditions.
4. Intellectual property rights
4.1. The submitter declares to be the creator or rights holder of the submitted video, or to have permission from the rights holder(s) to submit the material.
4.2. All intellectual property rights to the submitted material remain with the entrant, but are licensed to KORFBALINC. as described in Article 1.
5. Monthly contest
5.1. Each month, KORFBALINC. will select one entry as the winner of a promotional campaign.
5.2. The winner will receive a KORFBALINC. package consisting of products selected by KORFBALINC. The composition of the package may vary per month. The prize is not exchangeable for money.
5.3. Winners will be notified by email. If no response is received within 7 days of contact attempt, the right to the prize will be forfeited.
5.4. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
6. Objection or withdrawal of consent
6.1. If you as a sender or data subject object to the use of the submitted material, you can submit a request for removal via the contact form or via info@korfbalinc.nl.
6.2. KORFBALINC. will process such a request as soon as possible and, if justified, will comply with the request within a reasonable period, provided that this is practically feasible.
7. Processing of personal data (GDPR)
7.1. The personal data you provide (such as name and email address) will only be used:
- For communication about the entry or competition.
- To contact you if your video is selected for publication or as a winner.
7.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except when strictly necessary for publishing content or when collaborating with trusted media partners (for example, if your video appears on an external channel).
7.3. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Please consult our privacy policy for this.
8. Final provisions
8.1. These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
8.2. KORFBALINC. reserves the right to change these conditions at any time. The most recent version can always be found on this page.
