About KORFBALINC

KORFBALINC is the home of korfball: news, results, fixtures, standings, transfers and statistics of Dutch korfball in one place. In the shop at korfbalinc.shop we sell products for players, coaches and referees.

Editorial team

  • All pieces are published under the responsibility of the editorial team.
  • How we work: we use AI in finding and writing news: Claude, from the company Anthropic. Claude searches public sites for news and writes a first version. Figures are calculated by a computer program from the official data, and it checks what a piece says about figures. After that, a human from the editorial team reads every piece the AI wrote and approves it. Only then does it go online.
  • Results, standings, fixtures and overviews that the site makes from figures alone go online automatically.
  • Columns and satire belong to the writers themselves and appear in a separate section with a clear label. Satire is always recognisable as satire.
  • Comments belong to the readers who write them. The house rules apply to them.

Where our data comes from

  • Results, fixtures and standings come from the federation's public match data.
  • We find news on public sites of clubs, the federation, the Korfbal League and other media, and in tips from readers.
  • Korfbal League statistics come from the Korfbal League site.
  • For match reports we use the course of the match, and sometimes the commentary on livestreams.
  • Transfers come from clubs, players, media and other public sources.
  • Club logos belong to the clubs. We use them to make clubs recognisable.
  • If we quote someone, or another outlet broke the news first, we name the source.

Spotted an error?

  • Click Report an error below every piece and on every page with results or standings.
  • We correct an error as quickly as possible, at the latest within 24 hours. When an error in a piece has been corrected, we add a correction line at the bottom stating what we changed.
